Lecture: 2012 Sino-Korean Architects Forum
December 19, 2012

Minsuk Cho is an invited guest speaker at the 2012 Sino-Korean Architects Forum.

“Over the past forty years, with the combined efforts of three generations of native architects, South Korea has gradually gained its own architectural identity with international recognition. Meanwhile, experiencing the same high speed economic development, Chinese architects have started to notice the achievement of Korea's construction, and have tried to learn more from Korean peers. Though both countries have cultural, aesthetic and technical similarities, a systematic comparative study on contemporary Korean architects has long been absence.

The forum alms to introduce architecture and architects in South Korea, and demonstrate their diversity to their Chinese counterparts. Through debates among architects, the forum would be an opportunity to probe into the developing history of the contemporary Korean architecture and the influence it has brought to the overall Asian architecture.” 2012 Sino-Korean Architects Forum
